What this site collects

Only what you hand over, plus the records any web server keeps.

  • The contact form — your name, work email, the company you enter, the topics you select, and your message. Nothing is pre-filled and nothing is inferred about you.
  • Booking a call — your name, work email, the company and note you enter, and the time you pick. They become an event in our Google calendar, and Google sends you the invitation.
  • Server logs — the ordinary request records a host keeps: IP address, browser, which pages were requested and when.
  • Fonts — the two typefaces are served from this site itself, so loading them sends nothing to Google or any other third party.

There is no analytics script, no advertising tag and no tracking identifier anywhere on this site.

Why we use it, and on what basis

Every use of personal data needs a lawful basis under the GDPR. Ours are straightforward.

  • To answer your enquiry and, if there is a fit, to scope the work — because you asked us to, and because taking steps at your request before a contract is a recognised basis.
  • To keep the site running and free of abuse — our legitimate interest in operating a working website.
  • To meet accounting and tax obligations once an engagement starts — a legal obligation.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your information and we do not share it for advertising. A small number of providers handle it on our behalf, each limited by contract to acting on our instructions.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. Nothing is stored on your device to recognise you between visits, which is why there is no banner to dismiss. If that ever changes, this section will say what is set, what it does and how to refuse it.

How long we keep it

Long enough to do the thing you asked for, and no longer.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or the UK you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, hand it over in a portable form, or stop a use you object to. Exercising any of these costs nothing, and we will answer within one month.

If our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the data-protection authority where you live. In Portugal that is the CNPD.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page. If a change materially affects what we do with your information, we will say so plainly rather than quietly revising the text.
