What these terms cover

These terms govern your use of this website — nothing more. Consulting work is governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties, and where that agreement and this page disagree, the agreement wins.

The site is information, not advice

Everything here describes what we do in general terms. Reading it does not make you a client, and nothing on this site is technical, legal or financial advice about your particular system or situation. Advice you can act on is what a technical assessment produces, and it comes with a scope and a price agreed in writing first.

Enquiries

Sending the contact form starts a conversation, not a contract. We aim to reply within one working day. If there is a fit, we put the scope, the price and the terms in writing before any work begins — and you are free to walk away at that point.

What is on the site, and who owns it

The text, layout, code and brand marks on this site belong to Corvale.

Client names, logos and product screenshots in the case studies are published with those clients’ permission and remain the property of their owners. Please do not republish any of it — ours or theirs — without asking first.

Using the site

  • Read it, link to it, quote it with attribution — all fine.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or harvest it at scale for resale.
  • Do not present yourself as Corvale, or imply a working relationship that does not exist.

Accuracy, and what the case studies mean

We keep this site current, but it describes past work rather than a forecast. The figures in the case studies belong to those specific projects under those specific conditions. They are evidence of what we have done, not a promise of what you will get.

Links to other sites

Where we link out — to a client’s site, or to a third-party report on one of our projects — we do not control that destination and are not responsible for its content or its privacy practices.

Liability

The limits of our liability for this website, and for work carried out under an engagement, are set out below and in the engagement agreement. These are commercial terms for your legal adviser to set — we have deliberately left them unwritten rather than guess at them.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always the one on this page, with its date at the top. Changes are not retroactive — an engagement already underway keeps the terms it started with.

Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the law stated below, and the courts named there have jurisdiction.
